Thoughts Workshop was founded by Tarek Abidia to create homes that are thoughtfully designed, meticulously detailed and well-built.

Tarek moved from Libya to the UK to study architecture and pursue his passion for home design and building. He brings over a decade of experience designing, building and managing high-end residential projects across London, including new-build homes and Grade II Listed Buildings.

Beyond his background in design, Tarek has developed an in depth understanding of construction through many years spent managing sites and working directly with building trades, materials and operations. He takes a keen interest in building technology and keeps up to date with the latest innovations and best practices within the industry.

Tarek holds a BA (Hons) in Architectural Studies from Newcastle University, an MSc in Construction Project Management from the University of Westminster and is SMSTS and FAW certified.
